Every believer is called to serve in some capacity. Whether it is rocking a baby on a Sunday morning, or telling people about Jesus on a mission trip. We are all commanded to GO and serve. At South Lakes, we believe that the church is healthiest whenever every person gets involved in serving.

SL Creative Team

SL Kids
In SL Kids we believe that kids are not just the future of the church, they ARE the church. Which is why we create an environment of Faith, Fun, and Adventure. If you are interested in serving on Sunday mornings or during events, please contact Amber at amber.thomas@slchurch.life for more info.
SL Students

Community Groups

External
We have several opportunities throughout the year for people to sign-up to serve outside the walls of the church.
Missions
Mission teams are sent out throughout the year to partnerships that we have with church planters in Mexico and Norman, OK.
Church Planting
We believe in church planting and work diligently to ensure that our church planting partners are equipped with everything needed to carry out their calling. We currently are sending teams to Mexico and Norman, while always looking for the next opportunity to partner with a church planter.
Elementary School Partnership
We currently partner with John Glenn Elementary and South Lake Elementary by providing surprises for the teachers throughout the year, adopting families during Christmas time, providing test monitors, and helping with projects that the schools would be unable to do on their own.
Serve Sunday
On the last Sunday in July, we close up the doors to the church and head out into the community to serve. Past projects have included painting at schools, bag preparation for a crisis pregnancy center, and cleaning out flowerbeds for those unable to.
