 SL Littles Questions
1. Have kids touch their toes. According to Jesus’ words in our Word of Wonder, what three
things are we to love God with? (heart, soul, mind) How did Jesus say we should love our
neighbors? (as ourselves)
2. Encourage kids to jump three times. Jesus wants us to transform us “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith” (Ephesians 3:17a).
How do you think it looks like when Jesus transforms us? ( We become more obedient, we say kind words, we help people, we put others first, we tell them about Jesus!)
3. Tell kids to spin around in a circle two times. What should we be rooted and grounded or planted  in? (Love)
4. Have kids flap their arms. Have you ever seen something grow or a butterfly transform? Share about it.
5. Encourage kids to moo like a cow  four times. Why do you think loving God and loving
others go together?
6. Invite the kids to march in place. How can you show love to God this week? How can you
show love to other people this week?

God’s love is so amazing—He loves us so much, and He transforms us through His love. God
loves it when we talk to Him and ask for His help. He wants to help us become more like
Him. Let’s spend some time praying together.

Engage Prayer!

Invite kids to share their prayer requests and praises, and to pray for each other. Some kids may not be comfortable praying out loud. That’s OK. Encourage kids to pray silently, thanking God that we can trust Him to help us when we are feeling sad or angry. Tell kids that even though people may disappoint us, God is faithful and always keeps His promises, no matter what!
